Learning simple improvisation

Hello,

Thanks for your suggestion, but no more books for me for now. I have Tim Richards Improvising Blues Piano and Bill Hiltons How to really play the piano.
Besides, mark Levines book is too advanced for me (only 3yrs of playing with no musical background)

What I want is some play along improvisation tunes. Not too difficult progressions 1451 kinda like, or is it better to create something myself?

Look for tunes with lots of ii-V and ii-V-I progressions. Try: "Satin Doll," "Crazy Rhythm," "Blue Moon," "Autumn Leaves," "Misty," "Polka Dots And Moonbeams" to name a few. Learn to play the melodies in the right hand with 3-note rootless voicings in the left. When you can do this, play along slowly with iReal Pro with the piano part muted. Then, try a bit of improvisation.
