Can anybody take a look to explain why the jump to coda sign is hit first time ?

I'm getting crazy on this ;-)
I've checked :

- the presence of the "Segno" Sign starting section "B"
- my first and second handings
- a double vertical line right after the "D.S. al Coda" instruction
- "Coda" sign starting Coda

If You Leave Me Now - (Chicago) Peter Cetera

No clue. I thought I had fully understood... ;-)

Questions not related to this particular chart :

Q1 : how to remove the "flying" bars separation hanging at the right of the chart, when not needed ? Removing it also removes the bar separation on the next line, on left...
Note that if the next line starts with a repeat sign, then there is NO flying bar separation on the right of the previous line.

Q2 : the "Slash /" sign is not nicely centered on the beat (see second bar for instance)

Q3 : the bar repetition sign is not nicely centered when in Small edition. Works like a charm when Normal edition. I actually switched back to Normal edition just for the % bar, as a workaround. (not uploaded this new version)

Q4 : not fully figured out why sometimes the text is showing on top of chords, and on bottom sometimes...

Thank you !

The player usually makes the coda-jump when on the FINAL player repeat as soon as the 1st coda sign is encountered. 1 player repeat = Final time.
Sometimes a DS or DC can delay the “Final” designation.

I also couldn’t get the DS to jump back to the Segno. It wanted to jump back to the A.

I discovered the issue.
LEFT AND RIGHT DOUBLE BAR LINES ARE NOT THE SAME.
They look the same but they are DIFFERENT.
At the END of a section you need a RIGHT (Ending) double-bar.
At the START of a section you need a LEFT (Beginning) double-bar.
In the middle of a system on a complex chart it’s easy to mix them up.
I found had entered the double bar for the measure with the DS instruction from the following measure. (a Left (beginning) double bar, looked ok but wasn’t)

Q1 “flying bars” the single bar at the end of one system is the same barline as the starting barline of the following system. If you have one…you got both.
When you begin the following system with a repeat bracket or double bar, the single-bar is still there, it’s just covered by the added separator. In that case, If the end-of-system barline above isn’t needed you can remove it.

Q2 “centering” yes, it is. It’s the small-font B that’s squeezed to the left to make room for adding a quality that makes the spacing uneven.

Q3 bar-repeat signs are placed in the adjacent space following the cursor position. In a 4 space bar, place the cursor in space 2 to center the repeat in the middle of the measure. In a 2 space bar, have the cursor in the 1st space. For other length measures, just do your best.

Q4 text is placed beneath the bar by default. There are up/down arrows to adjust the text to a higher position.
