How indicate to the player to stop play?

I'd like to end the player at the beginning of the first beat of the last bar of a coda.
The coda looks like |C A7|D-7 G7|CMaj7 | the player stops after playing the whole Cmaj7 bar, but I want just the first attack of the Cmaj7 and hold the sound.
(I put a similar message in the Jazz forum where probably is not the correct place, sorry)

Currently this is the way the player works. All I can think of is putting a Cmaj7 on beat 4 with a Final barline just after it (no following bar.) It is not exactly what you want, but might work in the context you describe.

Using the END character functions in specific ways and is not used for Codas.
