Gypsy In My Soul - Clay Boland-Moe Jaffe

"Gypsy In My Soul" is a tune from 1937 with music by Clay Boland and lyrics by Moe Jaffe. Below is a simple chord chart for the tune. Note that I have not used the standard chords in in bridge as I prefer my version. The standard chords for the first two measures of the bridge are: |Gm C7 |Gm C7| and for the fifth and sixth measures: |Fm Bb7 |Fm Bb7|. The use of half-diminished chords is also not standard.

This is a tune that I don't play so you get a quick and dirty version. I hope it works for you.

"Gypsy In My Soul" with interlude

After having posted the chart above, I listened to versions by Ella Fitzgerald and Doris Day on Youtube. In both versions, there was an eight-bar interlude followed by a repeat of the last A section. After having heard these versions, I extended my chord chart to include the interlude. Note that I have arranged the form so that on the last full chorus, the interlude is skipped. So here is the chord chart with the interlude:

Minor Version of Gypsy In My Soul

Hi. Does anyone have a chart for the minor version of Gypsy In My Soul? Connie Evingson does a version of this song in A minor and I'd love to cover it but I can't find a chart anywhere.
Thanks!
