This ballad as sung by the Inkspots has nothing to do with “gypsy jazz”. Lyrics tell the story of guy who keeps going back to a fortune teller because she continues to tell him what he wants to hear - that his woman is still true to him, even though he really knows the relationship is over. A little weird, but some nice melodies and some advanced chords. Biggest hit for this group and topped the Billboard Best Sellers list for 10 weeks in 1946.
