Ending on beats other than one

I've noticed that if I put the END marker on a beat other than the first beat of a bar, the player still stop playing on the first beat no matter what.
It would be nice to be able to end the song on beat two or three or four.
Not every songs end on the first beat!

Yes, by changing time signature, it can work. But I'd rather keep a chart simple for reading.
I guess having the END button work on beats other than the 1st beat must be too complicated to implement, otherwise it would have already been fixed.
