I want to have two bars intro followed by a 12 bar blues with 5 choruses. do I have to write the 12 bars out more than once? OK with three repeats.

Editor, trouble with repeats.

choruses are set in Song view in the player menu at the bottom (called Repeats). You will see the + and - buttons to change the number, so just write out the 12 bars once in Song edit.
Use IN (intro) at the first bar; and letter A on the third bar (repeats ignore the intro).
