Double time-Help with Editing

Hi All,

I was trying to figure an easy way to take a tune (End of a Love Affair) in this case, that is written as a 4/4 and change it to a double x feel to be played say, twice as fast but with the changes going by at the same rate.
Therefore there would be TWICE as many measures as the original.
Is there an easy way to do this in the editor.

I have done this the "backward' way with Cherokee (64 measures) in 4/4,
converted to 32 measures of 2/2, so one can hear a slow rhythm section playing but play double time (iE 16th notes at half the tempo) to practice relaxation.
But can't figure out the reverse.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Here's my example of the Cherokee chart.
Cherokee 1 - Ray Noble

Thanks
Mark

Select the player style: Jazz- Ballad Double-time Feel
It plays the first and final player repeats straight and double-times the repeats between.
Start the player at the last-four (as a slow Intro) subesequent repeats (except Final) will be double-time.
(Fast rhythm, slow changes)

A shortcut has been proposed in this feature request thread:

You are welcome to share your ideas there.

There is Jazz - Double time swing

That's the ticket!!!

The jazz - double time swing style set at 200bpm goes through the changes at the same rate as medium swing at 100bpm.
(But the rhythm section really cooks)
