See if G/Ab will work. )BOB Last edited: May 14, 2015

K kjazz New member May 14, 2015 #3 Thanks Bob, actually I need...... Aflat dim Maj 7 over Eb in the bass. So I was trying here to solve just the top part of this particular chord change. Eflat in the bass is sort of important as it is resolving to Eflat Maj 9. It gives a strong leading tonality.

K kjazz New member May 14, 2015 #4 I realize a Diminished +7 is not extremely common, but I would have thought common enough to be doable here in iReal. (???)

J Joo New member Jun 14, 2015 #6 you can try E7#9/B, first Position. It`s an inversion of your voicing, with b3 in the bass. Does it work? Greetings Werner
