I need to indicate AboMaj7 That's A Flat Diminished Maj 7...... Can someone tell me how to do this.

I've tried AboTriangle7, AboMaj7, Ab-Maj7b5, but nothing works.

I need a diminished chord 1,b3,b5,Maj7

thanks so much,
Kerry

So the chord you want contains: Ab, B, D, G ?
See if G/Ab will work.

Thanks Bob, actually I need...... Aflat dim Maj 7 over Eb in the bass.

So I was trying here to solve just the top part of this particular chord change.

Eflat in the bass is sort of important as it is resolving to Eflat Maj 9. It gives a strong leading tonality.

I realize a Diminished +7 is not extremely common, but I would have thought common enough to be doable here in iReal. (???)

Man, talk about a "tension" chord!

you can try E7#9/B, first Position. It`s an inversion of your voicing, with b3 in the bass.
Does it work?
