Comparison/differences between iReal Pro on iOS and OS X???

Hi,

I tried searching for this and did not find a thread on it, but please feel free to point me to a link if I missed it.

I've been using the app on my iPad and was wondering if you could provide some info on the differences between the iOS version and the OS X version?

Specifically, I'm wondering if the sound engine is any different? e.g. -better midi with OS X? Stereo drums??

Or are the differences mainly "cosmetic" - larger editing screen, etc?

Using earphones I hear no discernible difference in sound quality, and neither are stereo. But if you plan to do much editing, OSX is infinitely easier. It's not merely cosmetic. Best 20 bucks I ever spent.
