Bass track without chord instrument track?

I am learning to play the piano for about 2 years and starting on some easy jazz pieces (Martha Mier's books). Is it possible with iReal Pro to just have a contrabass playing single notes as an accompany instead of multi instruments and chords. (keep it simple at the beginning)

Yes.

You can easily adjust the volume of the individual instrument tracks in the player's mixer.
