I just re-wrote the changes to the Nat King Cole version of the Ojos Verdes (Green Eyes). I know is a months later but I hope you Enjoy it. Please let me know if the chords are corrected. I didńt write the breaks ćause iReal book doesńt allow you to.

Yes, all the charts I post are transcribed from recordings. I never use fake books, because most of them are not accurate.
I also recommend anybody to listen to recordings as much as possible when learning tunes. It's a better way to learn!

Hey, your charts are really great! Thank you for sharing them here. I like to learn the tune from the recording them look and see if there’s a chart before I write one out and yours are always slot on. I appreciate your efforts!

After recording , then clicking on Save, where does the recording go? i.e, where do I find it?

If I understood well, the is no "community-correction process", meaning that if someone finds a mistake it's not possible to edit the chart or to suggest the author to do so.

So if I want to create such a thing, I will have to create a new playlist, with my transcriptions and sometimes "advertise" it on this Forum or through other medias, is that so ?

Yes, you could start a sandbox thread for your personal charts.
BUT that is not a dependable way to SHARE your charts here as the sandbox is not archived.

It looks like lots of people have made their own chart threads in the "Sandbox" area in this forum. I think the only difference is that Bob has been doing it longer than anyone else.

Also, you could make your own sandbox thread, sorta like pdxdjazz‘s sandbox thread: https://www.irealb.com/forums/showthread.php?25872-pdxdjazz-charts and publish your charts and playlists in that location.

Yes,

You could probably make your own playlist and charts, without any approval, and publish it into your thread in the Sandbox area of this forum. Just keep in mind that once in a while they delete the Sandbox threads. As long as you keep backups of your charts and playlists on your iReal, you will be ok and you wont lose anything and you can re-publish to the sandbox if you need to.

Posting charts to the main "Gypsy Jazz" thread might not be noticed by most people. Best way is to keep a Sandbox thread and then once in a while you can post and advertise in the main gypsy jazz thread and refer people to your Sandbox area in the forum.
