iREAL PRO helps a lot when playing chord progressions on piano or guitar for improvising soloists.
Although I can "comp" fairly well with just the chord symbols in front of my eyes, I love to know the music by heart.
Consequently, I try to learn the song by heart immediately.
First step: the chord-melody (which also teaches me the song's form).
Second step: the melody (in a comfortable key for my voice).
For both steps, my interval watch is helpful. https://musik-ist-mehr.de/intervall-uhr/

Re: “ Hi Niki, user name is tonylimpus. I'm able to view songs list but can't import them. Can you advise the reason please?”

Tony, you must have the iReal pro app installed on the device you are using.
Charts can only be opened in the iRp app.

So each device needs a subscription? Boy that's tough given I already have a sub on my iPhone and my tablet.

It’s not the device that needs a separate purchase, it’s the operating system.
4different apps sold in 4 different app stores.
iOS, Mac, Android, Win11
If you had an iPhone, an iPad Pro, and an iPad mini you would only need to buy the iOS app version once. different flavor device(s) need different apps.

If you had an android phone it could use the same google play account as your Samsung tablet
And (more technical but doable) a PC using Bluestacks an android emulator.
A true Win11 app has just been introduced (separate purchase) but might be easier to use.
Lots of discussion in the forums about Bluestacks and other emulators.

Hi Niki, user name is tonylimpus. I'm able to view songs list but can't import them. Can you advise the reason please?
Is there a post that shows how to use the search function? I was trying to find the song Anything Goes and without quotes, search told me the two words were too common; with the quotes i got nothing. I found it of course, but my inability to easily find a song makes me wonder what i am missing, since I've been in tech pre-Internet. Anything you could point me to would be wonderful. Thanks Claudia (aka rhythmgrrrl@gmail.com)
Do not share charts using visitor messages.

Only post charts directly from your app in iRp format so they can be downloaded from the forums into the app and opened in the iRp editor. Don’t post charts as an image or text file, .zip file, .pdf file, attachment or link to drive, Dropbox etc.

Follow these guidelines:
Please review the guidelines for posting charts:

Your original songs are welcome, but without context, they’re just random chords.
When sharing songs of your own composition, if you could include a link to either an audio file or YouTube, your original chord chart would have some context for others.

Hi Bob! I just wanted to send a message of appreciation to you!
Your moderation on this forum actually makes irealb (and the shared resource of charts) a valuable resource for all.
You’re awesome! 💛 Thank you!
“New” songs are added to the main forums one at a time, each in their own “song discussion thread”. Playlists of random, unrelated songs (like set lists or personal favorites etc. may be added to your sandbox thread.
It's ok to share a playlist of songs by a single band/artist/composer.
Correct composer info is always required.
Thanks for posting your charts.
:))BOB
Could you make clarification about my post? I corrected the names of the composers and there's no previously posted charts among my list. Thanks.
