You Are the Sunshine of My Life - Stevie Wonder

Bob,

Thank you. It's fun to play, especially with the pedal points on the B section.

Thanks for adding the Intro. Its second two bars are ascending thirds on a G whole-tone scale. So I think it would be simpler to use a series of augmented thirds moving up: G+ A+ B+ C#+ Eb+ F+ G+ B+.

The problem is that the rhythm is syncopated with eighth notes, with five chords in the first bar, which iReal can't notate. So, as you did, one has to leave out one chord and notate quarter notes.

You Are The Sunshine Of My Life Rev 2 - Stevie Wonder

Cheers,
Jer

Jerry, I want to thank you for occasionally updating all your reharms on complete Playlists in the Sandbox. I wouldn't want to miss one. Fun to play, and even just to listen to with the melody in your head. Great work.

Jack

PS: I'm curious about what you can do with rhythm changes and accompanying bass notes, including "I Got Rhythm" itself. :-]
