Too Late Now, by Burton Lane and Alan Jay Lerner, is one of my favorite ballads. It's from the 1951 film Royal Wedding, with Fred Astaire and Jane Powell.

It's been covered by many people, whose versions can be heard on YouTube, including Peggy Lee and Judy Garland.
