I want to change the time signature after th first chorus . Ex To play Waltz for Debby from Bill Evan the first chorus is in 3/4 and for the solos, the chorus are in 4/4. And for the last chorus, the time signature is back to 3/4. How to do this? thank
You can reset the time-sig at any measure.
Place the editor’s cursor in the 1st space of the measure where the new time applies, select a new time-sig. The new sig will play until it’s reset.
No need to alter the length of the measures (usually)
I understand how to change the time signature in the middle of tha song but...What I want to do is playing all the song in 3/4 and the other repetition for the solo, in 4/4. At the end for the last time, I want to go back in 3/4. Is it possible?
The iRp player would only do it if it were written out.
A “combination style” (like two/four) isn’t (yet) available for three/four/three.
Here’s a chart with the 3-4 idea. It ends with a coda in 4.
I suppose you could try to append the coda to the IN and add a DC al coda at the end of the 4 section (the player would require at least 2 repeats.
