The other version on here wasn't doing it for me. Not that this ones so much better. What do any if you Irish pickers prefer for the style on a jig?

Not sure what you are asking. If you think my version (taken from The Fiddlers Fakebook) is strange, I would have to agree but I think it's because the banjo rolls don't translate to 6/8 time well.
