Note - *not* the orig. Beatles tune from the movie, but an encore/closer I assume McCartney wrote. The band I play this in also likes to use it for this purpose.

The measure with text "tempo 72" sets the tempo for the rubato ending section, and is the last measure of the a capella break. Even though it at first sounded like a ritard, on review I hear it as an immediate slowing to the rubato section, piano playing triplets over each quarter at 72 vs. eighths @ ~130 in the six preceding measures.
