stops, cesaura, ? thanks in advance

I am on Android, having trouble getting a stop, pause, ceasura, to work. I am Sutter it it me not doing it right. The effect I want is to hit a chord, and the whole band stops, the restarts in the next measure. An example might be Mose Allison's version of "Don't get around much any More."

I have tried the "/" and "//" but no luck. Suggestions appreciated.

Break/tacet has been requested, not yet implemented.
An easy work around you can try:
insert an A-B switch or tuner pedal (with a mute function) in the output line to briefly silence iRp's audio with the tap of your foot.

Have you tried "N.C." ?

Hello,
Have you tried to use "N.C." keyword insted of Chord to get what you want ?

Assuming your song has 4 beat per bar :
Chord on the first beat of the bar, then "N.C." on the second beat and nothing on third and fourth beats for instance.

The drum wont stop, but every other tracks will.
