this is my favorite jazz tune - not least for its beautiful ABCD structure which is refreshing after myriad AABA forms.. I've jazzed up the chords with the available harmonies from the qualities list.. I think it sounds more inspiring to play to, hope you do too..

What's interesting is that it's a reharm of a reharm. The Real Book version is by Miles Davis, who reharmed it from Victor Young's original.

Hi Jerry. I posted the Stella reharm sometime ago in AAJ. I've been using iReal Pro for a few years now. Great for solo gigs when I don't want to carry a laptop and use BIAB.

That's the way I use it on my solo gigs, Ray: iReal Pro + iPad + small amp (Roland CM-30) with an acoustic piano.

That a nice take on an all-too-familiar tune. It fits nicely into that timing.

I'm curious about why you chose to alternate 4/4 with 3/4 instead just using a straight 7/4 time signature.
