Starters question

Hi
I hope this is not out of place
I have a digi piano and an ipad 4
I have them connected
My hope it to create backgrounds for songs like Beatles etc
Is there an overview which will tell me if the ipad app will allow me to create the rhythms and key changes to accompany the pieces I want to play?
