Roy Hargrove songs

As a trumpet player one of my major influences has been Roy Hargrove, but outside of standards you rarely see the chords or arrangements of his songs. I feel we should amend this, that being said, here are two of my favorite charts by Roy Hargrove.

The structure is quite simple and quite "hipnotic" but i'm not so able to write down...

R.I.P. Roy Anthony Hargrove (October 16, 1969 – November 2, 2018) was an American jazz trumpeter. He won worldwide notice after winning two Grammy Awards for differing types of music, in 1997 and in 2002. Hargrove primarily played in the hard bop style for the majority of his albums, playing many jazz standards, espcially on his 1990's albums.
