Well, the thing is, where did Kyle get it from? It doesn't seem to exist in sheet music. I'm curious about his source.

I usually try to check out any unfamiliar tunes that are posted in the Jazz section, because sometimes I find one I like and can use.

That aside, I notice a tendency of some people to post changes to an original, and then never follow up your request to post a link to a chart or recording. I can't imagine why they post it in the first place.

I (and probably others) share your frustration.

When I post the same "helpful hints" over and over, they aren't really for the the errant posters, though one would hope they might take the hint. They are actually intended for new and future users.

You'd think folks would read and explore to learn a little about the forums' culture and conventions that have evolved during the past decade before blindly jumping in. <sigh>

Experienced users are encouraged to help less experienced folks better fit-in.

We're all in this together.

I wrote to him, and he sent me a lead sheet. He composed it for a high school band.

He didn't explicitely give me permission to share it, so if anyone else wants it I think they should ask him.
