Reggae style opinions

Just like in jazz, there are as much reggae tunes with a straight feel (even 1/8th notes) than swing feel (swing 1/8th notes), so I would really hope such style could be added in IRP. There's no need to build a new style from scratch. Could just copy the existing one and remove the swing feel in it to make it easier.

It also could be nice to add the "bubble" organ pattern, that is so standard in most reggae tunes, just like in "waiting in vain" by Bob Marley.

For me, I’d love to see a wider selection of Jamaican and Caribbean rhythms:

Bluebeat (lightly swung Ska, ~130bpm, piano bounce)
Jackie M (straight rocksteady, with organ)
Bubble (as CyrilleB suggests)
Drum Song (sparse roots, ideally with a delay option!)
Steppers (four on floor)
Dancehall
Lovers Rock - very popular now.

Also...
Dr Kitch (60s calypso)
Mighty Sparrow (70s calypso)
Hot Hot Hot (80s soca)
Merengue

The Cuban/Brazilian options are great: the single (swung) reggae option isn’t very useful for Jamaican music, and is more like 80s English pop.

All those plus what I think is called reggaetron. Cross between Arabic and soca. Eg Shakira - hips don't lie. A soca style would also be appreciated.

Where is the existing (swung) reggae option? I can't seem to find it. Any information appreciated! Thx!

It's in the "Pop" category. It is called pop-reggae.
Other reggae styles would be greatly appreciated.
At least a straight 16th (or slightly swung) style would be great. And yes, other Caribbean styles (soca) would be nice as well
