recommend an app for chord/lyric sheets with playlist option

I use iReal for all my chord charts but a friend has trouble following bars and would prefer to either scan his existing Lyric/chord sheets or use .doc, txt or pdf into a suitable app. Can any one recommend a nice simple app that can catalogue, search and enable the creation of playlists and give a clear display of the sheet. He uses iPad although I wouldn't having the option for my android tablet.
