Pyramid - Roger Williams

Well-known member
Pyramid, by Roger Williams

This tune is from Horace Parlan's album On the Spur of the Moment. I transcribed it from the record.

The composer is not the pianist Roger Williams who recorded an unbearably florid pop arrangement of Autumn Leaves back in 1955. This Roger Williams, according to the album's liner notes, was a longtime jazz pianist out of Pittsburgh.

I can find no other references to this tune or to the jazz pianist who wrote it. I love the tune and can't understand its obscurity.
