I just submitted the survey requesting mandolin chords, with an added request for tenor banjo (also, please add Tenor Banjo as an option in the list of requested instruments!) If you implement charts for mandolin (GDAE) you can add tenor banjo (CGDA) with very little additional work; just transpose the mandolin chords down by a fifth.

ideal would be to add chords by the user for any tool! I personally miss a lot of versions of the guitar chord, for example, for gypsy swing. The definition of string music, tuning and chords has many other and less quality software.

Perhaps a more unified perspective would benefit many more users.
Tenor Banjo chord diagrams have been also been requested.

Since the same chord shapes could serve mandolins, violins, violas, cellos, tenor banjos, tenor guitars as well as other instruments, all that would be needed is the ability to adjust the label of the diagram independently of the chart to accommodate instruments with different string lengths.
The same principle would work for baritone ukuleles as well as permit the re-naming of chord diagrams when using a capo.

Even though violins (for instance) are not thought of as "chord" instruments, they frequently use double-stops (partial chords) and chord shapes are a great starting point for beginning improvisers.
So, I too am wishing for independently labeled mandolin/tenor banjo shaped chord diagrams.

Mandolins chords would be very useful!
We have Mandolin chords on our list for future consideration, it is not currently in iReal Pro sorry.
