LeadChart pro (Lead sheet maker) app.

Hi! I've been a live musician for 50 years and have used iReal Pro since it came out. Initially, I was happy to use it, but I was later pretty disappointed by its restrictions. Don't get me wrong — iReal Pro is not a bad piece of software, and it still has many fans. But as most of us know, it's not ideal for writing down your own songs.

I finally created an app for Mac and Windows that overcomes these hurdles. Almost everything is possible, from writing your own notes to designing your own layout, and much more besides.

It's available for both Mac and Windows (Linux will be available soon), and you will receive a signed and certified app for both platforms. Until the end of 2026, you can download it for free from the Mac App Store or my website. I have presented the app in several forums and received lots of positive feedback. I hope you like it too — give it a try and let me know what you think. Thanks.

P.S. I found out today that many servers are down due to a critical PHP issue. The Windows version is therefore still unsigned, but will be updated as soon as possible. However, the uploaded unsigned version is working perfectly.

My primary device (on the bandstand, in the studio and at home) is an iPad.
My backup device on the bandstand is my android smartphone.
Any plans for me?

touchscreen is a complete different story, so no plans yet, sorry.
By the way, I use forscore for the bandwork to organize my pdf and make note with in rehearsals

We probably have different needs and practices.
Thanks

I assume you need a full touchscreenable app. I know there is a need for it, plenty people ask for. I have very high expectations of an app, and I need to come up with a completely new approach for an Android/iOS app. Simply entering notation is very fiddly, and the text is too small to be readable on a tablet or mobile phone. In short, this feature is virtually unusable — and yet it's what sets iReal Pro apart.

What will be the price of it after 2026?

€29/$29 with an introduction price of €19/$19.
The free download until end of December is meant as a gift to those who supported the development and to the community.
