Oh that’s really helpful thank you bob… As I started to make the chart, I ran into a problem with the new version IRP..
The nudge function to move bars to the right or left seems to be gone. As you know, it’s really helpful to format by making bars, appear to be three beats when they’re really not it just scrunch’s the bars together closer <only to be used when you have one chord per bar> .
There never was a “nudge” function for bar lines. There was and still is an add space/delete space function.
What device are you using?
The supplied chart that includes several short repeating sections is 50 bars top to bottom.
You will have better results if you start your chart with the built-in 90 2-space bar template. 8 bars across 12 systems (lines). I’d also consider writing out the short repeating sections completely.
When you share charts (even incomplete examples) only post them directly from your app in iRp format so they can be downloaded from the forums into the app and opened in the iRp editor. Don’t post charts as an image or text file, .zip file, .pdf file, attachment or link to drive, Dropbox etc.
Sorry for all my protocol faux paws. however, the image that I shared was just to show the new change done to the space delete function . I had circled that area to pointed it out . The plus and minus signs aren’t quite as intuitive as the previous arrows. Id argue that they’re confusing for certain people but I’ll go to the new version discussion, I’m sure it’s discussed there. I’d also argue my method of the 48 bar template and using the space function to create five and six bar staves is the way to go for a good layout utilizing maximum available space .
Did a real quick chart on this copying the one you sent me bob thank you… Not sure how accurate it is ? I made a few changes from the piano music just where looking at the Piano part the chord symbol was wrong
