Jazz Practice Exercises

When sharing songs of your own composition, if you include a link to either an audio file or YouTube your original chart will have some context.
If your chart reflects an original melody, it would be helpful.
Thanks for sharing your blues exercise.

Thanks for this! Just a note for anyone who downloads -- the ii V in Bb-7 resolves to B-7 on the chart -- so you'll need to make a quick edit to the original file so that it resolves to Bb-7.

Lance,

Who are you thanking and to which chart are you referring?

Full Scale Practice 3 - Klangakrobat
Scale practice

Great practice exercise.
Check out iRp's practice feature (Graduation hat icon).
You could write out just the first line of your chart and iRp will automatically cycle through all the keys.
It can also start slow and gradually speed up as you practice.
Remember to reset the practice features to OFF when done.

Hi Klangakrobat!
Thanks for your post...
Can you explain more about your chart? What kind of chord progression is it? What kind of exercise can you do with it?
Thank you very much

Alternate Rhythm Changes - Exercise

Here's another rhythm changes, with an Eb-7 instead of the A-7 in the 6th and 3rd t last bars.
