Retrieving previous version
Sorry if this is obious. I altered an existing chart and meant to give it an alternate name but I saved it before changing the title. Can the previous version ("I Fall In Love Too Easily", without the '2') be retrieved or did I just overwrite it so no one can access it anymore???
I Fall In Love Too Easily 2 - Jule Styne

Good reminder to edit a DUPLICATE...

Here is the jazz 1350 chart:

The numbers are assigned by your individual app based on the order of upload. Your numbers are probably different from mine.

No worries.
Actually, thank you.
Common things occur commonly.
You gave us a chance to post the reminder.

The first and second D7alt should actually be played as a polyphonic Db major triad over a D major triad, but the iReal nomenclature provided no intelligible way to annotate such a sound. You cats need to imagine it instead ;)

I don't have to imagine it, I can play it. But I don't understand it. Why such a discordant sound?

Cheers,
Jer

Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock do it too on the record Seven Steps to Heaven, which, in my humble opinion, is a better version.

Maxwaltman,

Yes, it is an interesting sound. A small caveat is that it's the only one of its kind in the tune. Are there other places where you might do something similar?

Cheers,
Jer

Probably other places. Alt chords can be colored in vary sharp ways without going outside the scale, so it’s possible to keep up the stretching. Why not try the same polyphonic sound on every alt chord and see if it works?
