Hungry For Empenadas - Robert Henson

Hungry For Empanadas - Lilac Wine

I can’t seem to get the player to run my chart the way it is written. Anybody have any tips or if they can rewrite this I would greatly appreciate it.

The repeats are good in section A and B on the DS pass.

Hi Robert

Always remember to include correct composer info on charts you post in the forums.

Your original songs are welcome, but without context, they’re just random chords.
When sharing songs of your own composition, if you could include a link to either an audio file or YouTube, your original chord chart would have some context for others.

Lilac Wine is a sweet Atlanta area event band.

If you can live with the NC bar both cycles you could do this:

Hungry For Empenadas (Lilac Wine) - Robert Henson

If you absolutely need it to jump directly from the repeated B to the coda and are willing to start your Intro with a bonus NC bar, you could do this:

Hungry For Empenadas (Lilac Wine) 1 - Robert Henson

The player feature will jump to the coda as soon as it encounters the 1st coda sign during the Final player repeat. When the pre-coda form ends in a repeating section, the repeat is skipped.

The purpose of repeat brackets and DS/DC instructions is to save ink, space and provide shortcuts. Using sheet music with multiple pages you could simply write out the entire form measure by measure. By condensing an iRp chart you might be able to gain enough extra space on a single iRp page to “write it all out”.

The player could do what you want, but…could the musician read it?
