Enharmonic Transposition, Flats vs. Sharps, slash chords

When transposing a song, there are instances where a chord such as E/G# is displayed E/Ab. When using slash chords, it would make more sense to use either sharps of flats for both lower and upper part of the chord, and not mixing them

After reading those threads, unless I missed something, I haven't seen anything regarding the particular issue of mix flat/sharp in slash chords. All those threads are not related with this issue

Hi,

This may happen as well when there is a tritone sub of V. For instance in Autumn Leaves "G-7 Gb7" for a non transposing instrument becomes "E-7 D#7" for a Eb instrument. As tritone substitutions of V are quite common, it would be nice if they appear differently for a transposing instrument ("E-7 Eb7" on the above example).

Best,

Lucas
