Duplicate titles....

Anybody know the best way to get the updated and/or new songs without having lots of duplicates in your library?

It has been posted that if a song is identical (in all respects) to a song already in your device's index, it will not import.
That includes songs that are part of a playlist. Tunes with the same title (but not exactly identical to what you have) will import and be re-titled: <song title>1 etc.

Also, if you are on iOS or OS X, you can delete the playlist and trash the songs in it, then import the updated playlist.
