I don’t know if you’re gonna get this or not but I do have a question. I do a lot of Sinatra standards and many of the songs I need to finish the form and then go to dc second ending but then I need it to play to the coda for the vamp the problem is that the coda is before the last measure with the dc ala 2nd ending designationS so if I put it on 1repeat it finishes too soon and if on 2 repeats it’s too long .. as I listen to myself I realize that Idon’t expect a reply since I am being so confusing. Thanks anyway.

For help with a chart, POST your problem chart along with your question,[B/] that makes it easier for members to help. Only post charts directly from your app in iRp format so they can be downloaded from the forums into the app and opened in the iRp editor. Don’t post charts as text, an image file, .zip file, .pdf file, attachment or link to drive, Dropbox etc.

To clearly show how you want the player to play the arrangement you may need to write it out start to finish, maybe using more than one page. Someone might then figure out how to condense your chart(s) using shortcuts.
Post your discussion in the song thread for that song.
The “best” answer for your situation depends on your specific chart.

He’s an example of what I’m talking about. I would like this song to play through the form and then to go back to the head for the lead break to the second ending and then to hit the coda for the vamp. like I said if I put it on one repeat it finishes too early. If I put it on two repeats, it’s too long. Could you tell me the best way to notate this?
