There are several combination styles available.
The section labeled A is one style, with B The other.
Both styles are played only on the first and the final repeats.
The interim repeats (if any) are just played top to bottom in a single style.
Jazz
Bossa/Swing
Latin/Swing
Swing Two/Four
Except for available combination styles, the Player cannot use more than one style without a chart reset.
Edit the chart (select DUPLICATE so your original remains unchanged.
Place the cursor in the space below the rehearsal mark you want to change, bring up the marks sub-menu and select the mark you want. )BOB
If you want the A to ALWAYS be Latin and the B To always swing, you need to trick the player into believing it’s still playing the 1st player repeat or the Final the whole time.
Enclose the whole form in repeat brackets and include x3 in the last bar.
The player sees *that* as the form.
Set player repeats for 2.
The first 3x is the head-in, the 2nd 3x is the Final head-out.
A’s and B’s should alternate style’s continuously.
You could add a short coda that would only play at the very end. )BOB
