A solution that comes to mind could be to setup a magic keyword like "Break" that can be added in the staff text (Like we do for example with D.C. al Coda) which would mean that the drums stop playing from that measure.
There could be a hit on one as suggested above.
How and when do the drums come back in?
Perhaps at the next double bar line
This feature is now available in the latest beta version or iReal Pro for Android.
The "Break” command is written in text. How can I remove it ? (Break)
I need silence for 9 measures, so I entered "Break" and nine measures with "N.C.". It looks good and almost works, except just for those nine measures, the tempo is slowing down. What is causing this, and can I work around it? I need the tempo to remain consistent from start to end, and including the nine silent measures. This is how it looks: |Break C|N.C.|N.C.|N.C.|N.C.|
Hello Bob,
Is there a way to resume a BREAK that is not double bar ? I would like a break for only 2 measures in the middle of one part. Ty
I’d also find it helpful to have proper break/tacet functionality built into iRP. Being able to insert complete silence, without having to rely on external hardware or visual workarounds, would make certain arrangements much cleaner and more accurate.
