Bossa Nova style revision request

The Bossa Nova style is one of my favorites to use (I play guitar and use bass and drums). However, the clave is way too loud. Both globally and within the pattern. The instrument's sound naturally cuts through any mix at any level. Please lower the attack on the Clave! Otherwise, I am thrilled to have such an affordable, simple to use accompaniment tool!

Have you tried adjusting the level of the drums in the mixer?

Yes but the clavé is so much louder than the rest of kit. Lowering the drums just makes the ride, snare and kick go away.
