After the third verse, it doesn't take the repeat on the chorus. It plays the four bars and jumps to the coda at sign. This is not how he does it on the recording. How does one move the del segno sign outside of the repeat sign so that it takes the repeat like it should?

The "jump from" coda sign can’t be moved outside the end repeating section bracket and still jump from there.
A workaround is to add the skipped measures to the coda.
The Segno is that fancy "S" at Letter A on this chart.
