It would be really nice to be able to notate a Maj7b5 Chord. I am stuck using Maj7#11 instead, which implies a natural seventh, when what I really wan is a Maj7b5.
If you don't want a natural seventh, then don't write the Maj. Anytime you write Maj7, it will always be a natural seventh. CMaj7+11 is C-E-G-B-F#, CMaj7b5 is C-E-Gb-B, C7+11 is C-E-G-Bb-F#, C7b5 is C-E-Gb-Bb. All of these chords are available in iRealPro. Later, Ray
I didn't want to start a new thread in case the question has already been addressed somewhere. However, as a newbie, I cannot find a chord for a major 7 b5. I actually want to want to write Gma7b5/A. Okay, I am no theory expert but this is a pretty common chord shape for me. Can you help?
