In the B&R version the chord played doesn't change.... It's Ab. Banjos are often tuned to G. I'm guessin' they'er using "back porch" tuning or the playback is running a little fast (raising the pitch).

The Coon Creek version uses just three chords. A, D, and E.
Listen, can you hear them change in the background?
Confer with a local musician...
