Ahmad Jamal (born Frederick Russell Jones, July 2, 1930 – April 16, 2023) was an American jazz pianist, composer, bandleader, and educator. For six decades, he was one of the most successful small-group leaders in jazz.

Been working on this one for a while! Arguably the most influential song by one of the greatest pianists ever, who changed hip hop forever with this tune. Peace be upon him.
I notated the harmony and structure specific to the when the drums and bass join at 3:49, though the entire song follows an AABA form of 32 bars with minor alterations (Aalt becoming a Gm in 2nd bar).
