You will be best served by starting a new chart with one of the built-in templates.
Most often I use the 48 bar but for long songs that only have one or two chords per measure, I’ll choose 96 bars.
You make the choice when you are first filling out the chart’s info page.

For your current issue, I would continue on a 2nd page (new chart) title p1, title p2
After the song is charted, consider condensing your work by deleting spaces in the editor and after creating room on p1, copy/paste your condensed p2 on to p1. You only have 12 systems (lines) to use.
There are other shortcuts to save ink as well.
Repeating sections, DS or DC text instructions etc.
