Apogee Jam support?

Hi,

I just bought a device called "Apogee Jam" which lets me connect my guitar/bass to the ipad/iphone/mac. It's an awesome device, but it doesn't seem to work with iReal b. iReal b seems to support iRig only. Is there a plan to support Apogee Jam in the future? If so, when can I expect to see the update?

I bought an iRig, which not to put to fine a point on it is whale dreck, and returned it the next day. I then bought the Apogee Jam, in part it was mentioned in the information for the settings for 'Background Audio' for iReal b. I just updated iReal b and now it discusses the iRig. How do I make the application work with the Jam?

You need to use some other application that works as a guitar amp, that also is compatible with apogee jam and that offers background audio.
The only one I tested is Ampkit but I'm sure there are other ones.
You need to follow the same instructions provided for iRig in the settings of iReal b.

I tried it with garageband but it doesn't support background audio. Fortunately the free Ampkit does the trick.

I have ampkit, and when I switch to ireal b from ampkit, ampkit doesn't work anymore. And when I go from ampkit to ireal b, I lose the play back.

I'm using ampkit with the apogee jam and irb.
When you're playing through an amp in ampkit, notice the gear icon at the bottom of the screen.
Tap to change settings and turn on "multitasking"

Hello pck,have you found out how to make apogee work with IReal?I just bought it for late night practising but I don't see how to get it working.
