Someone to Watch Over Me

One of the charts I downloaded is ‘Someone to Watch Over Me.’ Such a beautiful piece, except the chart doesn’t include the whole song.

For example, normally, the lyrics begin at ...

“there’s a saying old, says that love is blind
Still we’re often told, ‘seek and Ye shall find’
So I’m going to seek a certain lad I’ve had in mind.”

Because of the format of the chord chart, I’m unable to start my song here, rather, it forces me to begin with the following ...”

“There’s a somebody I’m longin’ to see
I hope that he, turns out to be
Someone to watch over me.”

Can you help me with this?

Is it possible to have a chart that’s inclusive of the beginning of the song?

What you seek is called the "verse". It's charted in the 2nd post in this thread.

Jazz verses are usually played freely (out of time) and/or rubato (Slowly).

The iRp player can currently play a chart in just a single, user set tempo.
While the newest version of iRp permits tempo readjustment during play, it's difficult to effectively use that feature during performance.
