Playback rushes

I use this in my improv class and after a chorus or sometimes two the tempo begins to markedly accelerate to tempos unplayable by the students.

Check out the "graduation hat" icon on the player control panel.
Using that, you need only chart the form ONCE in any key, the player will automatically change key as you like each time the form repeats. There's also a setting there to speed it up each time...
Make sure both are set to "off".
