Playback position indicator freezes

The yellow playback position indicator freezes after approx. 1 to 2 minutes of playing a song (usually at the end of the chorus) while the sound continous. I use an iPad Air with the latest IOS 7.1.2 and iReal Version 5.1. Can anyone give some Support? Thanks a lot.

Does it happen with every song?
As a first step, please reboot your device.
Let me know if it solved the issue.

Hi, I rebooted the iPad and tried again with the following songs (All Of Me and Billie's Bounce). Unfortunately it happend again with both songs after the end of the second chorus. If you then stop the song and play it again from the beginning it does not seem to happen again. This is a pattern which I just found by chance. It may give a clue?

I just loaded Version 6.0 and the problem seems to be solved. Thanks a lot.
