Mr Clean - SM - Weldon Irvine

Composer was misidentified as Freddie Hubbard when actual composer is Weldon Irvine.

To get the half time feel, I cut the number of barres in half, and for the accented hit on the Db/F chord change (not even included on the Real Book playlist), I used the old 3/8 - 5/8 trick that I used in other charts like Coltrane's "Equinox". See what you think.

Thanks for starting the discussion thread for this tune. Also thanks for catching the misattribution that a member copied from the Real Book II.

Often the performer is not the composer but is misidentified as such.
Since the composer field is just for composer info,
in iRp you may include the performer (version) with the song title.

It’s best to use the correct iRp chart-info format.
Example:
Mr. Clean (Freddie Hubbard) - Weldon Irvine
...title......(version) - composer(s)

You have correctly appended your code “SM” to the title to indicate the Sher Music version.

Please review the guidelines for posting charts:

The 3/8-5/8 trick has a tastier feel than either |F-7 x Db/F x | or |F-7 Db/F x x |.
