Loxodrome - Eddie Gomez

Loxodrome (Steps Ahead) - Eddie Gomez (as played by Steps Ahead)

Enjoy this challenging tune, was surprised it was not yet available
You can hear this on the 1983 "Steps Ahead - Steps Ahead" album.
If you find mistakes let me know or upload an updated version. Also let me know if you come up with a better way to handle the two 8 bar sections. This way the chords fit on a single page.

Hi Bob, thanks for the feedback.

I changed the title as suggested.

Am I in conflict with the guidelines? Will take a read later.

Indeed only 7 bars in C section. There are no real sections in the song. But the tune is clearly structured in those three parts so I added them.

Syncopation,

Thanks for the chart. Steps Ahead was a great group when Eddie Gomez was with them.

Cheers,
Jer

Thank you for posting this great tune!

Yes, sometimes it’s a challenge to fit all bars on one page and still keep it readable.
I have another proposal for the 8 bar sections:

Loxodrome 1 - Eddie Gomez

Thanks so much @MontunoResonante. Wow, not sure why I didn't think of that solution - makes much more sense now. I replaced the file in the initial post to make sure others load the improved variant.

This way makes the most sense to me:

Loxodrome 2 - Eddie Gomez

If you post a chart, then decide to make some edits, it's fine to edit your original post to replace the original effort with the corrected one. When a chart is the subject of discussion, it might be better to leave the original (and subsequently corrected chart) so folks can better follow the discussion and learn from it. Our goal is greater than just a library of "correct" charts.

It's easy enough to import all the iterations, flip between them and trash whatever you don’t want to keep.
